Started as the first graphic designer in the award-winning startup in Melaka, I assisted in the creation of online and offline visual design, including typography, visual concept and materials by providing creative and art direction for the company's product as well as its clients'.
In 2019, I got promoted in title as a UX Designer & Product Manager and my job scope expanded to creating low/high fidelity prototypes and communicating them effectively to internal team and external partners. Besides, I also perform task prioritisation, management and product planning.
In February of 2020, I decided to leave my beautiful hometown, Melaka to seek for new challenge and career opportunity. My role as a Senior UI/UX Designer in the company included turning product requirements into high-fidelity prototypes and aesthetically engaging user interfaces and instilling UX ideas and methodologies to solve interaction problems. Besides, I worked closely with developers to ensure the UI/UX design goals are met and consistent across all digital platforms.
I joined Oxyminds in April 2021 and was initially a Senior UI/UX Designer. Four months later, I was promoted as the Creative Lead, leading a team of UI/UX designer and graphic designer. My main responsibilities are overseeing and delegating a broad range of projects while setting strategic creative directions for team members whilst coordinating with the Project Department to ensure timely and successful delivery of projects according to clients' need and objectives. At times, I enjoy conducting researches on new techniques and technologies to ensure that the design team is always ahead of creative trends.
After my time at Oxyminds, I joined Cognixus in April 2024. Here, I’ve led end-to-end project execution by gathering requirements and acceptance criteria from CEOs, Product Managers, and key stakeholders, translating them into clear, actionable designs. I collaborate closely with cross-functional teams across Australia, China, the UK, and Indonesia to ensure every design aligns with business goals. I’ve streamlined backend operations by creating solutions and wireframes that unify multiple micro-services, and driven continuous product improvements through user interviews with internal teams across various departments. I also actively mentor designers, providing guidance through weekly catch-ups and knowledge-sharing sessions.
